I have the original song book of Exile on Main Street, the sheet music and lyrics with the cover of the black man with the pool balls in his mouth. Can anyone provide me with information on its current value.

I have a “mystery” CD called “The Rolling Stones Live - Vol 2,” which appears to have been recorded before a very small audience in 1965.
It has 16 tracks -including Funny Mae, Cops and Robbers and Memphis.
It is part of a series called the “Golden Age,” and is interesting in that the cover shows an image of a group of 4 young lads who sort of resemble, but are definitely NOT the Rolling Stones!
I did once see that an Italian TV crew did a documentary at about that time and, as the disc is produced in Italy in 1992, by Fremus S.A.S. (who produced a bootleg Doors album at the same time) I strongly suspect that this is a bootleg.

Anybody have any other information?

I've come across a copy of Satanic Majesty's Request LP on The Nova label. Is this worth anything?

Jordan C, that album sounds really interesting! I read recently that it is still coming out. I hope that the stones music is done justice!

“I love the Rolling Stones! One of the most fascinating things about them is that they seem to pull from all sorts of genres - especially reggae! Listening to songs like “Black And Blue” – definitely shows how much Keith and the guys pulled from the genre. This being said, through my experiences listening to Rolling Stones I have begun listening to reggae legends such as Peter Tosh (he was actually the first artist on Rolling Stones Records!).

If your interested – you can check out Peter Tosh singing his song “Mystery Babylon” here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPEBRKqY2a4&feature=player_em bedded#

Anyway, I’m wondering….have the Rolling Stones led you to other musical discoveries? What other genres do you hear influencing Rolling Stones’ music?”
